I have a 1995 force outboard. When I am running around full throttle for a couple of miles and then pull the throttle back to idle speed, the motor will idle at 1200 to 1700 RPM for a couple of minutes and then will eventually idle down to 700 to 800 RPM. Also, After the motor is warm, and if I shut it off for a couple of minutes, I will have to give it gas when I restart it. And then when I put it in gear, it will die out. Any ideas

Re: 120 force outboard

manowar,

I posted basically the same problem today but gave many more details. You can see that I did most of the carburetor adjustments, though I did not adjust throttle cable linkage. I did not find any information on how to properly adjust the cable linkage.
