Where to buy parts for older outboards...

Hi, Does anyone know any places to buy parts for a 45hp chrysler circa 1971-78? I would like to find a carb rebuild kit, an impeller, and may need some lower unit parts replaced. Also how do I get the lower unit off this motor? I got it dropped about an inch or so but it seems stuck. I believe it is the shift linkage but where should I disconnect it at? I know I need a manual and i'm going to order one tonite.Thanks,<br /><br />Rich

I know a guy that has 10,000 sq.ft. of warehouse space with Chrysler parts. He's really easy to deal with and has tons of new and used. I met him through e-bay. His name is Carman and his e-mail is mr.tincab@shaw.ca<br /><br />Just tell him that Gary from Ottawa (boatkaiser on e-bay) sent you.
