I have an 85 force 1985, The mech told me that the stator was bad, It had a blue wire burned off and charred. My question is..Is this an indication of any other electrical problems? I read on a maintenance post that the rectifier should also be replaced when a stator burns out.<br />Any info provided would be appreciated. I'm new but learning.<br />Thanks
