Anybody know how to access this system for a 1991 Force 70 hp. The Mercury site won't take my 6 digit serial number, nor do I know the mercury part number to look up, nor does it have a place to enter my model number.
Try the Doller Offshore Marine site. Not only can you order your part fronm there, you can find a complete breakdown of your engine from top to
bottom along with a parts/price list. This has helped me. Hope it does the same for you.. (They have a 1-800 #also.)
Put the letters "OE" in front of your serial number.

If you have a Force part number, precede the number with a letter "F".

I don't know why it works, but it does.
