force 50 lower end ughh

i was out on the water last night and i think i fried the lower end of my '87 force 50.. I want to get back on te water before the end of the year if possible.. does anyone know where to look for a good usable USED and INEXPENSIVE as possible replacement.. i remember someone on here having some for sale a while back, anything that would work would be great.. thanks for any help in my search for a new one..<br /><br />jasper

What got "fried"?<br />You might have a more reliable unit by repairing/rebuilding the unit you have. You will know it is a good one.<br /><br />What happened to it?
