The motor should reverse, if the leads are reversed. The relays normally do this job, but if you have the two wires from the trim motor in your hand and touch one to each post of a battery, it will go one way. Turn them around, and they go the other. Does the motor make any racket at all? Does it spark? My rough guess is the brushes are hanging-up. Try thumping the case of the motor with a screwdriver handle (be easy, do you don't freak the magnets out).
As for the relays, yes, they are standard {SPDT 10AMP} headlamp relays. You can take one out, take it to a good auto parts supply, and get the counter person to cross the Bosch number to the brand he carries, for 5-7 buks each. And they'll plug right in.

Does the motor operate in both directions? If it does, the problem is in the pump. A simple drain/refill doesn't allways fix it, but you are correct in assuming that it needs new seals, if there was allready some water contamination.
I've never had to rebuild one before (just the motor-part), so I am of no help there. If the motor doesn't operate in both directions, it's not the pump or seals. The brushes might be the culprit. But this can be a tricky undertaking for someone who has never been inside a starter motor, or simular electric motor for a rebuild.
There should be shops nearby that can do this job for you. If you don't mind trying (at the risk of loosing the motor), I can try to give you a step-by-step procedure. It should come apart fairly easy...But I must warn you, it's very tricky getting it all back together again.

hi, raising the motor is the hardpart, I would try disconnecting the return line to the resavior on the pump and flush the pump and lines out by raising the motor and let gravity force the fuild out. the milkshake may have plugged a line or valve. my manual indicates some trims use motor oil and others use hydrolic. and there was a caution about atf. verses plain hydrolic, dont have the book here, its off the top of my flat head.
