neighbor locked this one up, I got one piston to move freely again, but other moves very hard, but does move, no scoring of cylinder walls, noticed.... tried penetrant, to get them both moving, now where can I get gaskets to rebuild?<br /><br /> :D

salty....you otta find out why the one piston is so hard to move. Might be something that destroys the engine real quick after starting. Might take a look at the rod cap and bearings. Did you have the engine tore down?

Yes I have the entire powerhead disassembled, it is down to nothing more than the two pistons, connecting rods, bearing caps, and block, these I have still attached to each other. As I stated, one piston moves freely now, the other is quite stiff, I see no signs of foreign obsticles in the cylinder in question, it just moves very hard. I see no scoring or scratching to the cyl walls. I am having extreme difficulty removing conn rods caps, they are extremely tight, and they have to be removed in order to remove the pistons completely. I see no damage whatsoever to the walls or piston. need more info, just ask :) <br /><br />Thanks for the reply OBJ
