85 force ignition problem!

Hi I have a 89 maxum with a 85 force, and I have spark on the top cylinder only and no spark on the other two. I am not very good at solving this problem on a boat, if any body can please help me on this, please contact me soon thanks

Dragtek, I am no brain at this myself, but I would check the plugs first for proper gap of just purchase new ones, if it does not work the see if you are getting juice to the ignition coils If not then you night want to check and see if the modules are good. I think it all starts at the stator if I am right. But there may be someone on here with true info or knowns what he is really doing. It is just a process of elimitation from the plug back. Check to see if each is good or shorted out. Hope this helps.<br />Bob jr.

My bad, I think it all starts at what is known as the trigger. Just trace the wiring back wards making sure each unit is good

Dragtek, The easy way to see if the coils are good is switch them, if you have one of the others fire then I would say that is the problem. they are all alike so you can do that.
