i was wondering if i need a new stator, this one has lots of rust and what looks like bubbles in the eposxy like stuff surrounding the coils. What are the bubbles that are in the epoxy stuff?

That might go to the nuetral interlock switch. Looks like the wire on my Chrysler that goes to the switch.

after reviewing further i noticed the stator pads are worn more on some then the other. if the pads are worn too much will this cause no work?

I'm by no mean's an electrical expert. But when I tried to test all my component's, the number's on my meter just went nut's, so I figured something was wrong somewhere. Now I'm not saying this is how all bad stator's will look, but it's how mine looked. It all stated from a loose connection on one of the wire's.
