I have tried the standard 3 bolt puller (pulled all the threads out and retapped twice) Tried a large 3 jaw puller and flexed the ring gear. Tapped on the puller to try and shock the flywheel loose, soaked with wd40 for three days, heated flywheel with torch to try to expand!!!! What the heck am I doing wrong. Roscoe if I could find a freight train right now I would try it. There has to be a trick to this ! Thanks in advance.

There is and I don't like it. They have a prybar that you wedge between the flywheel and crankcase. There's a doodad that screws on the top of the crank so you can whack it with a big ball pein, while prying, with the keyway aligned with the prybar. I never broke a crank or crankcase doing it, but it sure made me nervous!

Wow....to be honest with you, I know my way around the tool box, and that makes me nervous BUT I seriously have tried everything! Heat, wd40, time, patients, 4 different pullers, impact guns. I don't want to admit defeat! I will give it a shot....cross your fingers....If you hear a yell from Washington Crossing Pennsylvania, you will know it didn't work!

Howdy Tiller! dont give up hope. i just spend the last whole week working to get my flywheel off of a 75 hp chrysler. all i used was the harmonic puller 120# pressure on a impact, wd40, and a rubber mallot. never thought id get it to pop off but today at lunch it let go. literally every morning, noon, and night i would load up the puller with the impact and tap on the flywheel and the puller. i spent about 5 minutes each time. in my old farming days i would try all kinds of stuff to quick fix and wound up worse off. steady wins the race. hang in there.

Thanks, I have been wd40'ing for a few day. I have a 14 inch Snap On puller on it now and time is what I have been giving it.....I have been heating it as well trying to get it to pop loose. I will keep you informed!

Try a true penetrating oil like PBBlaster or Liquid Wrench.
