I just bought a 12 foot boat with a 9.9 HP GameFisher motor attached to it. The model number is 225 581998, and the serial number is OE 205244. Can anyone give me any information on the year and who manufactured this motor for Sears.<br />Thanks John

OE205244 is a Mercury (Force) serial number, 1997.<br />Your motor is basically a Force, with Sears Gamefisher clothing on it.<br /><br /><br /> Serial number between 0E203000 and 0E287999 were 1997.<br /><br />Parts from here:<br />mercruiserparts.com/selectSerailRange.asp?doc_nbr=9%2E9+H%2EP%2E+%281997%29<br />should all fit, and may be cheaper than getting them though Sears.
