crhsyler sea king 4 hp rusty gas tank

my brother was given a 4hp sea king and the tank is rusty. what would be a good way to clean the thin layer of rust in the tank? also what year/model would this engine be here are the numbers i found on the side<br /><br />mod: vwb52004d<br />ser: 28x22894<br /><br />thanks for any info you guys can help me out with.<br /><br />adam

PLEASE post Sea King questions in the Other Outboards (Sea King, Sears, etc) Forum.<br /><br />Other Sea King owners want to find threads about Sea King in that forum, not all over the site.<br /><br />Moving to Other Outboards.

Why do you suppose we have a seperate forum for Sea Kings and other rebranded brands?? Was there ever a Sea King that wasn't made by someone else?? How many Sea King owners think they have a Chrysler??
