water pump impeller direction

I have a 10hp honda outboard any ideas what direction I should place the impeller in the stainless housing?

SF,<br />The blades should bend towards the direction of shaft rotation.<br /><br />Put the lover unit in gear, turn the prop in the forward direction and notice which direction the shaft rotates. If counterclockwise, then the blades on the impeller should face conterclockwise when installed also.<br /><br />Nav

Hi, replacing the water impeller on 2000 9.9 honda. How much are the torque setting on the impeller housing and also the lower unit? I can't find my manual. Thank you.
