looking at a 2004 Tracker Tahoe Q5

I am looking at a 2004 Tracker Tahoe Q5 with a 4.3l V6 Merc...190hp (what can I do to up performance)<br /><br />It has a bimini top, custom cover, all the lifejackets, side protectors (bouys), skid gaurds, auto bilge pump, CD stereo...Has a trailstar trailer with brakes only 20 hrs. and comes with the factory warrenty...<br /><br />There price is 19900 OBO for EVERYTHING...what would be a fair price to offer them (and hopefully get this boat for)...<br /><br />By the way whats the top speed of this boat, as well as the cruising speed? thanks!

i dont know about the price but i think that the 4.3 in that boat will be plenty of motor i have an 18ft bayliner with the 3.0 and it is enough motor for what i use if for i get a max speed of 42 or so i would say the boat your looking at will get about 47 and cruise nice at 25-30 hope that helps

don't ya love when someone bashes a product (and in this case, poster), yet offers no real advice?<br /><br />i can't answer your questions, but my father bought an 18' aluminum tracker last year and loves it.

I looked at one of these boats and I think the 190 would work but I would rather spend more money and get the 220HP, (it is fuel injected). I seem to remember the top speed of that boat is around the mid fourties. <br /><br />I think these boats are fantastic for the money, I think the next boat I'll buy is a Q8

i said it was my 2 cents, not what everybody should base their desicions on. yes they have some pricier boats, but they also offer a lot of value based boats.<br /><br />we all know what value based boats look like when they are 10 years old.<br /><br />look what happened to mako when they got bought out by tracker. go compare a 1988 mako and a 1998 mako.

this is exactly why i dont like anything "tracker"

Football,

I have an '06 Searay 185 with the 4.3 and purchased it for 21,000 brand new. The boat you're looking will soon be three years old. 19,900 is too high. Mid 16's might be a good offer. Does it have an hourmeter?
