A long time ago I had an old Mechanic (I be one now) show me this! If you are replacing universal joints take them apart and wash all the new grease out and assemble them again! You do not have any I dea what grease is on them when new and you can bet it isnt high quality! Also you would not believe the amount of machining residue that is left in the cap, they do not have enough time to clean them adequatly! If you wipe them out with a white rag there will always be black residue on it!<br />Just something to think about!!
