Re: FUEL PUMP

Could be almost anything. If I were to guess I would guess the ignition module. They tend to go and not leave a code in computer.

Re: FUEL PUMP

Do you have a service manual?

What engine?
Got spark?
Are you getting any codes out of the computer?
Did you jump/bypass the fuel pump electrical circut at the ALDL connector under the dash (ALDL connector is where you would connect a code scanner) to rule out a bad fuel pump, and test the fuel pressure with a gauge?

Give us any info you can, and don't be afraid to get long winded with your post..

Re: FUEL PUMP

Probably fuel pump, they are inside the tank, normal problem with Astro vans!

SIN, you will have little fuel come out when line is open, but when under load, the pump will not provide enough fuel to run.
I take it you have the 4.3 with TBI on it.
Check, filter, strainer and/or pump.
The later two are in tank as has been said.
Also when replacing pump, replace strainer also as it will not be covered under warranty if you don't.
