I love your little dragster project. That is really beautiful work. Do you own a tubing bender (as opposed to a pipe bender)? If so, what kind? I am looking at a ratcheting unit that is around $250, and completely manual. I know a guy that tried to get by with a $70 pipe bender and the results weren't too good.

Time for a friendly ^Bump^
I've only used a commerical one a few times on really light stuff. SS Bow rails and Alum Rub rails on boats.

Sorry I missed the bumps. I'm not ignoring you, honest, just haven't been around much lately. Here is the URL:

Ratheting Tube Bender

I have this bender in action by a pro and it is impressive!

I can tell ya these don't work very well.. Got one..

It'll bend whatever you ask it too, but it'll crease and flatten the heck out of a pipe/tube.. Might try some heat, dunno...
