I have read the help section and I am still confused. I want to be able to run it only when I want to, not at every start-up. Where can i change the settings?
that works in 98 and 98se. it does not work in 2000, there is no msconfig. I'm not sure about ME or XP.

Additionally, I have run both LavaSoft Adaware and Spybot. Spybot, by far, finds more things.Originally posted by FishinFool2002:
You can tell any program to not run at startup by: Click start, run, type in "msconfig". Go to the startup tab, and make sure the program that you don't want running is unchecked. Make sure that the one you are unchecking is for sure not needed. Unchecking unwanted startup programs also speeds up your boot process.
Got ya FF! I always missed that in 2000. I think you had to buy a aftermarket program to remove programs from StartUp when you were not given an option.Originally posted by FishinFool2002:
It does work in XP
