Has anyone ever put up a cell phone booster antenna for your home?

I'm completely wireless now, and on occasion, I will lose signal strength due to my location in the country.

I've seen 'booster' antennas available.

My problem is, I have 2 different cell phones.
Is there a way I can bring a signal FROM the tower to my home so my cell phones can feed from that?
I other words... I don't want to hook an antenna directly to my phone.

Would that be a repeater of sorts?

Thanks,

H.

Yes, they have repeaters. Never tried one, but I've heard they work well. They're around $400 though.

I use "booster" remote antennae (on about 10' of wire)for my cell phone both in my home office and in my truck, Homerr.

Anywhere within 20 miles of The Hideout offers unreliable or no signals otherwise. With the antennae I get full strength almost anywhere.

It does reduce the mobility at home, but without it I have no cell communications at all.
