Have a B2150HST, 4X4 and Power steering.

I operate several implements on the 3point hitch.

Book says use 48" mowers, tillers, cultivators, etc. Dealer says use much easier to get 60" implements but reduce ground speed.

The Diesel would pull the world if you could hook it up, but the cooling system wont do more than a half hour or so at medium range with 60" mowers, etc. without getting hot.

Freshly lubed 60" finish mower, fresh edges on the blades, clean radiator and oil cooler. Creeping at walking speed or less, engine at 2450rpm. Still had to cool er down after about 30 min.

Anyone else had this problem? This one has done it since new ('97) and the previous one (B8200 stick shift) did it for the 7 years I had it. Both tractors maintain normal temps as long as there is no implement on the 3PH.

Anyone tried a custom radiator with about 1" thicker core??

Re: B-series Kubota cooling.

JB I don't know the answer to this one. I use john deere here on my place but the nursery people here use a lot of those Kubotas with the 60 inch equipment.
While out on patrol today I will inquire into this and find out what solutions they come up with.

JB: I have B2100 with HST 4wd and the opposite problem--temp gauge rarely gets to middle. Although you probably already did the obvious, you might make sure that radiator is clear and air filter is clean. The web site tractorbynet is a good one to also get input from other Kubota users.
