I'm with you. I don't know a real busy boater that has one of those magazine lawns. I've got better things to do. I have a 10 year old neighbor kid that knows whenever he sees my boat gone, he can cut the grass. It works pretty well. I park my boat on the lawn and it gets looking pretty bad underneath which means I'm not spending enough time in the boat so the grass can get some sun. Can't wait for warmer weather. Ice is still on the lakes around here. Cheers. MarkOriginally posted by Winger Ed.:
The problem with fertilizer is that it makes the grass grow. Then I have to mow it more often, leaving less time to play with my toys.

As I'm headed to the lake, more than once I've looked at the yard and thought, "Gosh I really should stay home and mow".
Snapperbait, at least the lawn would look green with all the greenback that you are going to tack down.>hack-phut!<.. I figure, with fertilizer and all, it'd be cheaper to nail dollar bills to the ground in place of the sod
