I have a shopping cart saved on one PC. I want to get it onto another PC. Will e-mailing the iboats cookie to the other pc do it?

Shure would save me a lot of time looking for all that stuff again.

Cookies will be there anytime you hit the web site if they track. If you sign into Iboats on a new computer with your ID then a cookie will be set. If you get rid of the cookie they will simply reset it if needed.
Are you talking about a bookmark? This is simply a part of your browser. Set it and forget it.

If I read you Right,.....

You've gone shopping here at iboats,+ you're up to the point of going to the Checkout....

If you Go to That page on PC 1,... Click on the Address Bar, Highlight, Copy,.. Then Paste that into an email,..It'll change color,+ be a Hyperlink... Send the email to PC 2,.. Open the email,+ You Should be able to just Click on the link you pasted into it on PC 1,+ be brought to the Same Page..............

Or,........
Wait till Somebody who Knows what they're talking about to explain a better way.........

Re: Shopping Cart Cookie

If I am not mistaken the contents in the cart are stored in the session information on the app server. The cookie contains an identifier that links to the session information. So the easy answer is that if you can find the cookie you should be able to transfer it.

Iboats probably has a number of cookies on your machine depending how the web app are setup.

Have you tried logging in to your account from the other computer to see if you can see your shopping cart on that machine? If that doesn't work, it might just be easier to enter them in again.

I thought a shopping cart cookie was an attractive customer at the local grocery

I think TexomaAv8r's version of a cart cookie is much more fun to talk about! :D
