I have used it on leather with good results and even contacted Thompson's about it. They told me they would not admit it but due to health regulations they were not permitted to advertise the leather (footware). It has a solvent in it and it might discolor but maybe if you tried a small spot......<br /><br />Bob

I used it on an old canvas tent one time and let it air out and dry for about a week. Even though it repelled water, it always smelled of thompsons.

Thompsons will also make the canvas very stiff. I used to use that on an old boat cover that was on it's last legs. It did, however, waterproof it.

I "Saved" My old bimini an extra 2 seasons while I was building the New 1,.........<br /><br />Scotch-Guard,..... 2 cans,....... Sprayed it on,+ No More Leaks,...... And,... Boy Was It Leaking......... :D
