I was going to relplace the door, but it came out easily so a little more bondo on this car isnt going to hurt anything!

'Dude! is that rocker splice perimeter welded or just rivited and bondoed? <br /><br />It all looks real good.<br /><br />BTB, did we ever see pictures of the whole wreck? or are you still holdin out on us? :p

Yep, welded with gussets, all the way! Some of the new glues are good though, but not in that repair. Too much structure.

How'd ya get that warp out of the middle of the door? Right thru the molding it is. It would seem tough to pull that straight.

That was one of those things that just happens sometimes. I fully expected to replace the door from the donner car but I took the door panel off and decided to play with it a bit before taking it off. I still have some old long picks from my days of body work, and was able to get in there and slowly work things out. Beleive me, I was quite amazed at the way it came out myself. Sometimes you get lucky. It turned out that the very lower part of the door next to the rocker was holding much more of the actuall dent than I thought.
