Re: Plasma cutters

That is some great info schematic. For a 60 amper unit, that is a great great price. Thermal Dynamics wants about 2200 to 2600 for their 60 amp unit.

Thanks.............Hey Santa Claus, I know what I want for Christmas! :D

Re: Plasma cutters

i work with all the name brands and everbody keeps there consumables different enough to require you to use there parts.

and if you do any amount of cutting you will find yourself going through them pretty fast.

so if anydody has one how is getting the parts ??
Re: Plasma cutters

Hi gents
Somebody has got to stop me!! I darn near cut everything in my garage in half! Steel, aluminum, copper all cut like butter. This thing is amazing!

why not a miller, or thermal dynamics, or a lincoln, or a hobart.....
They will not come even remotely close in price for an equivalent product. You can get a 60 amp CHIRY unit for $750 delivered to your doorstep. Or a 40 amp for $460 DELIVERED. The price of CHIRY consumeables is dirt cheap as well.

Secondly, there is alot of quality electronic products coming from China. Good odds your computer motherboard is made there, so I not leary.

I'm just a hobbyist, and could never justify the price of a Miller or Lincoln plasma, but $750 was in my budget for toys.... :)
