The memory wire to sterio often shorts and drains battery.
Also....
Pop off door ajar rubber grommet and insert a dime in the grommet. That will assure closure.

My guess is the diode (an electrical check valve) has shorted in the alternator. This would allow it to charge but then pull it back down when it's not running.

Re: batteries are draining....not sure why?

Thanks for all the help.
Last night, I went for a drive to get dinner and since there is no music in the car now, I thought I would hook the amp back up, so I had music for the drive.
Well, I accidentally touched the amplifier somewhere with the live wire and blew a fuse.
The interior light went out, so did the the door ajar light.
So this morning I checked the battery and it was at 12.61volts and after a drive this morning, it is now 12.76volts.
So it was most likely, the radio that had a wire, which was shorting and causing a draw off of the battery.
I also forgot to turn the lights off when I went to the doctors this morning. I was in there for an hour and when I came back to the car, it fired up, no problem.
Now, I just checked every fuse to see which one was blown, and they were all okay.
What fuse does the interior light run off of?
I guess I will have to go and get a manual for the car.
This weekend I am going to install the radio from my truck, properly, through the radio fuse and cap off the live wire going to the amplifier.
Then I am going to borrow my friends 10amp meter and check to see if all is okay.
Thanks again fellas!

There's a fuse box in the dash, a fuse box or two under the hood, fusable links in various other places, and possibly an aftermarket in-line fuse that was put in with your aftermarket radio. Keep searching 'till you find the blown fuse.

May not be a radio problem. Could possibly be the amplifier drawing voltage down as they are not usually switched on/off with the key.

Thanks craze1cars...I forgot about those fuse panels under the hood.
Reel Poor: That is very true. I noticed the amplifier never had an on/off switch.

Its possible to that the amp is hooked up wrong and back feeding the circut that controls the door-ajar light and the clock.

Re: batteries are draining....not sure why?

Quite possibly Reel Poor.
But I did figure out the "door ajar" issue. All it was, was the rubber mount on the inside of the door, which shuts the "door ajar" light off, was worn down.
I put a couple washer over it and some black duct tape...that issue is done.
I will find out on Saturday if any other power is being drawn incorrectly, once I install my other stereo.
