Re: Adobe Acrobat Reader Question?
Workaround??? Hmmmm....Yes

Try this...
Link

If that fails, there's another way that works a treat, but it takes a bit of work (not hard) to get it done.

Now stay with me for just a bit.....

Up until now, you've probably fought the urge to learn about uploading files to your own storage space at your ISP. They give you storage space for free. All you need to access that space is an FTP program. FTP (File Transfer Protocol), this one,is free.
FTP Program

Anyway, here's how this works.
You upload the PDF file to your storage space (ex: myfile.pdf) using Smart FTP
You go here
Link and tell this web page 'where your file is stored' (your storage space)
example:
http://home.comcast.net/~boomyal/myfile.pdf

The web above page converts it into a text file and displays it in your web browser as a text
You then hi-lite all of the text and right click
Hit Copy from the little menu that opens

Open Notepad or MS Word and right click again, this time select Paste

Your original PDF file is now a text file to edit as you wish.

There are software packages that you run that will print PDF files directly to text files, I use one myself.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, you can use your storage space to host your own picture files too. You don't have to worry that the picture hosting site will change their policy about externally linking to the pics, you host your own. If you do Ebay, you can host your own auction pics as well, at no extra charge...

If you find a website that will store your file ( the pdf file), like Photobucket does (they only host pic files), then u/l the pdf there and run the above link to convert the file.
