Once again, I have posted this in outboard, non-repair:<br /><br />Hope your still there, and doing fine. <br /><br />Once in an old post to 12footer you mentioned you could do a schematic for a DVA adapter. If you still have it, I would appreciate a copy very much, as I only have an ordinare digital multimeter. Miss all your good advice.

Reel Poor<br /><br />If you are referring to what meter impedance to use, I'd recommend at least a 10 mega-ohms digital meter.

Ok... I have to ask how to operate this thing I build it plug it in an then use the auto range ac or dc settings?

Autorange DC. Expect up to around 300v and mentally add 1.2v to what you get if that matters at all. :) 300+VDC is nothing to be fooling with so make sure you don't touch anything while testing. Also, let the capacitor bleed off after you stop the engine - it'll take up to 20 seconds or so depending on your meter and the voltage you're reading.<br /><br />Can't see why it wouldn't work, and it's a lot simpler than mine!
