I Had a perfectly good running Freezer, with the door Rusting off it,.. figured I could weld on a set of hinges,.......
Last summer this Beautiful Clean Good running Freezer is Given to me,..... I Landfill the rusting 1......

This fall,... A Main Entrance Wiring Issue on the side of the house caused the Barn to go 220V,.. All thru the 110V side,.......
Boss lost his computer,+ Adding machines, etc.....
Of My 2 Freezers,.... My 1901 vintage Sears is Still purring as Always,.......
And, of course the Newer old new 1 Sounds like it's OK,....... Nope,.....
30lbs of Venison,+ maybe 100lbs of Garden is Lost.........

So,...... This is what I'm Looking At,.........
And,.... I have No Idea How to service these things.........

When it tries to Start,... There's a Big Load on the circuit,.. Lights dim, etc...Sometimes.....
Some other times it just starts,+ runs....
The Best it will do is +20*,+ that was when it was Cool outdoors..... Other times the Therm said up to +35*........
I unplugged it,+ allowed that Ice to melt away,.... the performance hasn't improved.......
I don't find any sort of Data Plate or Serial #s....
It's a GE Frost Guard Auto-defrost........

Is it worth trying it Fix it,...... Or do I gain about 10sq.' of shop floor space,..???....
