Seafoam and a 4.7l

Dodge Durango....I know it says you can use the seafoam with using a vac line...Im just wondering if anyone has done this before..Im looking for the best way to get the seafoam inside the engine to do a good clean...<br /><br />4.7L 2002 Dodge Durango.<br /><br />70,000 miles.<br /><br />Thanks

Say Hey, why don't you atleast wait till the Dodge is broke in. I've squirted seafoam in the throttle body of my v8 f250 but only after it started missing, prolly due to bad fuel. Fixed the prolem. I don't think a 70,000mile durango engine should have need for Seafoam...my opinion only. Chief Chief

It's called preventative maintenance. ;) <br /><br />I suggest you add half the bottle of seafoam to your gas, the other half in your oil just before you change it, and then go buy a can of Deep Creep and spray that down the throttle body. Deep Creep is the same thing as Seafoam, except it is in an aerosol can and comes out foamy so it cleans more stuff on it's way through your intake.

Yep, add to gas and the other half in the throttle body... be sure MAS stays clean. Or use deep creep.
