Employee of The Month

Got named employee of the Month Yesterday.........Not sure of the details since its the first time the award is being given. Thats cool Pony. I got it myself about 5 months ago. All I got was a parking spot. Sad part was I didn't find it till 5 days before the month was over.

Well.....even if it is just a parking spot, it feels great to be recognized. This is particularly true in retail right now.......now is when budjets are LOW and hours are given to the best. In the next few weeks my store is making some major cuts......cutting the dead weight.<br /><br />At least now I am positive my job is and will be safe. The GM came into my area (Inventory/Recieving) this afternoon and pulled me to the side to tell me what a great job I had done the day before.....as he recieved a bunch of compliments from others about the things I had done. I said "Hey thats what you pay me for." He said "Yeah but we pay everyone to do it too, you are the only one who has really been able to do great work consistantly. keep it up"

When I go to Circuit City I always park in the employee of the month spot. I figure the person must have called in sick.

Its nice to see a company that apreciates you. They probably give out att-a-boys to. Company I worked for only gave out ohhh sh!ts. Will you get your name on the parking space? I can see it now .Employee of the month .Pony. spray painted on the curb. Congratulations!
