I bought a used boat last year and it came with an extra prop. Its a 5 blade stainless steel. It's in very good shape and I am thinking of selling it but the only numbers I can find on it are 48-816612-20.
It fit a 90 horse merc(6 cyl). I did a search on that number but not much came up. how can I find the specs on that prop and how much it cost new new. Thanks

Found the following site:

http://www.rundquist.com/pb_application.htm

For that particular part-number it says:

HI-5 (V-4) -- These propellers have a 2" progressive pitch and a parabolic rake of 30 degrees. Used on the 75 through 150 HP outboards and XR4 series.

PROP NO. 48-816612-20
DIAMETER 12-3/4
PITCH 20

At http://www.mercruiserparts.com the High Fives have a suggested retail price of $604 and an actual price of $499.

On eBay, High Fives in good shape have typically sold for about $250-350 in the last few months.

(Google is a wonderful thing...)
