I have a 1995 Horizon 190. and I am located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I just got it last August so this is my first full season. Love the boat. Learning all sorts of new things about engine repair. I just replaced all of the belts last weekend. Had to remove the entire back bench seat to get one of the pulleys off. At least I know how it all goes together now!

Bionic man and Four86Winns How many hours do you have on your Boats?


Both Boats look just like our 86 Horizon 190. We have 569 hours on ours now. Already 27 hours this year on it.It's been in the water at our Lake four weeks. getting ready to go back in. i just polished and waxed it for the second time this year. It'ss get one more coat of wax before it goes into inside winter storage. We live in Roscommon, Michigan.



One other question for both of you how often do you change the engine oil?

- 5.7 long block
- Delco Voyager EST Distributor
- Edelbrock 750 cfm carb
- Reduction gear starter
- Teleflex Marine CH1700 Control handle assembly

Only had it a year and I already have $3000 more in it than it is worth.

Usually go boating to Alum Creek in Delaware OH.

I'm all excited...'n stuff, because I'm aaaaaalmost the proud owner of a 2000 Vista 328. The only thing that's left to do is the survey (fingers crossed), sign on the dotted line, pays me money, and she's mine, MINE, ALL MINE I TELLS YA! YAHAHAHAAAAAARRRR!!!! <cough> um, sorry about that

Anyway, I'm in Riverside New Jersey, on the Delaware River.

I'm not the original owner, so I don't really know how many hours are on it total, but I put about 70 hours on it per season (about 5 months) and she's been mine for 4 years. I get the oil changed when I bring it in for storage and winterized, at the end of the season. When she comes out for the summer, I do a tune up.

I wax every other week, and usually I have to clean the inside daily because at the dock there are trees that hang over.

The boat is a 2003 180 horizon that has a 150hp jhonson. Have had this boat to just over 65mph.

I'm in Lisbon Falls Maine and i'm in the process of picking up a 1998 245 Sundowner. We usually go to sebago lake or hit the kennebec river and spend the day cruising the islands along the coast.

How you doing, Eh?

Just brought a new 2007 Horizon 180 with a 4.3 L, have had it for just under 4 weeks and have been through three and a half tanks of gas. Runs fantastic and looks great.

Live up here in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. So far we do all of our boating at the cottage on a small bay off the Ottawa River.

No original pics yet, will post later.

We just bought a 2000, 180, 5.0 GL - at Lake Gaston NC. I recommend Four Winns to anyone looking for a stern drive - great boat. Owned a 97 180 a few years ago was sorry I every sold it - but found this one. Also have 99 Sport Nautique we use for for slalom and wakeboarding

1989 Four Winn's 200 Horizon,5.0L V-8 20' open bow bought it in '03.<br />

Sold the 200 Horizon and bought.....

a new 'old' 88 Four Winn's 215 Sundowner OMC 305 out drive in June of 07

had to get a cuddy boat for the little one's, to sleep in when we boat all day

I currently have a 1973 Saf-T-Mate 15' Trihull...maybe the smallest on the thread so far?

For those that don't know the four Winns bought Saf-T-Mate in 1975. They kept making the Saf-T-Mate boats for a few years

I also just bought a 1981 Four Winns Marquise 180 Cuddy. It is intersting to note that the Hull Id number starts with STM. What year did they change the Hull Id manufacturers code?

WE have a '96 four winns horizon 190 we got the end of last year.
We were able to put it in the water twice before we had to winterize it.
will use it in the finger lakes of western new york!
