The Brunswick Corp bought Baja in 93 or 95 and when they did they deleted the Cruiser line because it was direct competition for their Sea Ray Cruiser line of boats.
They dropped the line becuase they wern't selling, not due to a conflict of interest.<br />BTW, Baja is just up the road from me, and I'm good friends w/ scads of people there.
I am looking at a 29 footer (1994). Are these a solid boat or was it a small one off type of product. It has twin 350's which seems alittle large but not overkill. But my concern is if the hull can handle the hp and the load. I like this rig because it is 10ft wide but comes with a trailer. I would keep it in the water but the travel lift fee's I would save would be substantial. And it would offer some flexibility if I wanted to do great lakes boating as well as keeping it on Winnebego.
Not too many of them were made, and twin Small Blocks in that boat are far from overkill.
Solid, heavy boats.
Baja's from the 90's up are well built and will easily handle the modest HP of those mills.
