Just stopped by pond, got 1 good 4-5 lb cat and 3 suns in 2 hrs, let em go, son had a blast w/ the new net - **** hot here 90+. Good fishin to all, we;re takin boat out tomorrow wind permitting, Heinz

Heinz, sounds like a great day. It sure is the best when you get to fish with a kid. When they catch fish, they get so excited even if it is a small one. When you pull in a big one like that cat you caught, their eyes get as big as saucers. Have fun tomrrow.

I remember the first time I took my kids out fishing, both of them caugth a sun pearch (blue gill) about 2 inches long. I had to claen and cook those litle things. It was worth it for the look on there faces!

Yup, eyes as big as saucers when we caught the cat, now he's used to it, and he readys net or gets back on bench if he thinks its too big for him, we made a deal, I help him on cats and he does it himself on sunfish/bluegill. Take care, Heinz
