Fish Finders

[thingsthatgobumpinthenigh]

Could anyone tell me about fish finders? What's good? Good brand names? I would like to get my boyfriend a fish finder for his birthday, but I don't much about the different kinds out there. Thanks.

Re: Fish Finders

You'll get some varying opinions on this topic.
For my money, I like the price, features, power,
and warranty from Garmin. I have the Garmin 160.
And have had a few other depth sounders in the
past.

Re: Fish Finders

For Fish Finders (Sonar) I like Lowrance.

I do like Garmin for GPS, though.

Gonna move this to Electronics, which is what fish finders are.
