Does this so-called "closed cooling" system still require a standard flush using the earmuffs on the outdrive (Bravo 3)?

Yes, it will flush out the manifolds, risers, and heat exchanger and everything else on the raw water side of the system.

Update! This system draws water from the underside of the boat and through a sea strainer. The intake ports on the outdrive need to be blocked and a hose inserted into the strainer will provide the water to flush. NO MORE EARMUFFS!
