Evinrude 8hp use standard 1/4" bolts for flywheel holes?

Hi,

I've got a 1985 8hp outboard and was wondering if the flywheel holes were for regular 1/4" bolts. They fit tight if bottomed out but have a tad bit of play if not. Thanks.

Should be 1/4x20 grade 8 bolts....

click search at the bottom of the page and search pulling flywheel. it requires a harder bolt than the standard. the search is now working.
