I replaced the plugs on a 1999 115 hp Evinrude and the spark plug electrodes have to be aligned up to the injectors... I drew a line on the plugs to help me do this, but not all of them would align exactly facing the injectors once seated... Is the some leeway to eaither side allowable? Also, is there a way to purge all the fuel out of the lines? We are draining the tank and think we may have a little water in the lines... What is the valve on the fule line coming out of the fuel pump for? Is it a purg or used for a mtc port for cleaning the injectors? Thanks!

You have a tolerance of 90 degrees on either side of the injector centerline, 180 total. If a plug does not line up in spec on one bank, it will fit OK on the opposite bank.

This link should help you out.
