old email address, old username, old password, .etc..
we'll try and get you straightened out.

Maybe you can get your old account back up and running again. I missed the 'ole Colonel.

Thanks, Keith. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. The new software doesn't even recognise my aliases from the other program anymore. But that's actually a good thing, as I can now use my original handle again (lost that in an update-gone-awry some months back. If it means a demotion, so be it.... Because It's good just to be home again.

one more test, because the changes do not effect the old posts...Even if they are edited in some areas.

12footer, actually you can opt to "update old posts" with your signature line.

When you chose to add or edit your signature line, there is a check box to update your old posts with your new/edited signature line.

Sorry I wasn't very clear on that.

It doesn't werk like that. It wont go back and change old posts. Same with sig changes.
Not a big deal,, given the fact that I can call myself "12Footer" again, even if I gave up tenure to get it. There is good in everything if one hunts around for it.
