Distilled H 2O in Everstart MAXX?

Just bought a couple of Everstart MAXX 65 N from that large retailer. Looking for some advice on upkeep, etc. When filling up with Distilled water, is it possible to put to much in. Or do you go to the top?

you can put too much in, it will boil over when charging and create a mess. if this happens clean up with baking soda. just fill each cell up to where the plastic ends on the inside of each cell and you should be fine. put it on a slow charge 5-amps and let it charge for a while.

Thank you. They are currently in the boat, both in parallel. Forgot to indicate they are deep cycle, if that matters. Is it good practive to check the fluid once/month with the tester?

its always good to check the fluid because if it goes below the plates you will fry the battery. just check the fluid when you charge it.

I don't believe it is necessarily to test specific gravity though, at least not monthly.
