I have a throttle/shift box that came off a Boston Whaler and is connected to a '67 Johnson 33hp outboard. My question is, can I extend the cables for both the shifter and throttle? And is there a really cheap way to do so? Thanks!

New cables are available.
Go to the Marine Store tab and enter Johnson Cable.
Just a note, they usually use a foot longer cable on the throttle as for the shift on those if they come in from the stbd side.
