Temp and oil pressure seems fine, when I start the port engine the alarm sounds, once I get to about 2500 rpm's the alarm will stop temp and oil presure still look good. Once I return to idle or slower rpm's the alarm sounds again. I must use the emergency start to start the port engine but I do not think there is an alarm sounding for the Battery. Any suggestions??

What model and make engine and drive? EFI? Carbed? Freshwater cooled or raw water cooled?
Other question is why in the world would you even try to go over 2500 rpm with an alarm sounding? That my friend is asking to damage something.

IS it carbed or EFI? Can't be both.

There are only 3 things that should sound the alarm, Oil pressure, over temp, and gear lube monitor.
Did you check your gear lube reservoir on the engine?

If the reservoir is low and you have to add lube, come back and ask more questions.

You may have water in your outdrive.

Drain the gear lube and see if it's milky. If it is, that's water.
If the reservoir has always stayed full and suddenly went low, you have a leak. Find it before going out again. Low oil will destroy the gears in the upper housing very quickly.
Another thing you need to do is look at that gear lube every time before you go out on the boat. Along with checking things like the oil and a general look around of the engine compartment. Don't just assume because of only a few hours run time that everything is ok.
