Motor won't spit out water

On my 55? Evinrude Fleetwin 7.5 the motor starts up but not water spits out the exhaust outlet. Does anyone have any info on this motor?

Check that impellar NOW! Do not run it.

Did ya stick it in garbage can? In water? Some sort of muffs? Little more info would help. Probably could use a new impeller anyway though. Good motors, most here can put them together blindfolded- with one arm tied to the rafters. Parts available.....

I stuck it in a barrel of water ran it for 2 seconds saw no water come out and shut it right off.. where is the impellar and how do i change it?
