125 Force oil & lower grease ??

Hi guys & gals, first post for me. 2 questions if i can.
have a 1989 Force 125hp, just to be sure what is the suggested oil mix? i've been using 40:1.
changing the lower end grease, some people tell me to fill from the bottom with the engine up at 45 degees, others say from the bottom but with engine staight up at 90degrees. which is correct?

Proper fuel ratio is 50:1
40:1 is a bit heavy on oil and will cause extra smoking and might foul the plugs a bit faster.

Engine vertical, fill from the bottom hole till lube comes out the top (vent) hole(s).
