First thanks to all who contribute to this site
My motor has questionable water flow. So following the water pump/impeller replacement directions I found the impeller "key" is a piece of 1/16" round stock that rides on a flat in the shaft. Shouldn't the key have a flat machined in it?
My next job is to check for crap between the pee hole and thermostat.
Should the water coming out the exhaust holes be very hot, almost to the point of steam?
How warm should the top of the motor housing get?
I can leave my hand on it, but it is hot.
Thanks for any help
Jack
