06 200 horizon depth sounder ?

Mine flashes 0 ft all the time. Dealer told me it needs to be programed I think the alarm set points need to be programed according to the manual but the sounder should still give you a depth the instant you turn on the ignition should it not thanks for you help.

I agree they are confused! The link was very helpful looks like the issue is the lead from the transducer or the transducer. I am leaning towards the transducer as I checked resistance accross it and it seemed to be open.

About one week so far so good other than the trim gauge issue and the depth sounder. I am sure it will be a great boat once these little issues are fixed the storage and room is great.

I've had mine for 6 months or so. Olny 2 problems. Screw on the sun deck digs into the upper part of the fold "couch". I talked to a Four Winns Manager at the boat show here last weekend and he sees the problem and is gonna take it back to the plant. Also the part that keeps the helm seat from spinning is stripped. It spinns at will. All will be replaced no questioned asked I was told. Real god people at Four Winns.

Sounds like I need to contact Four winns directly on my issues because the dealer has poor customer service. This is the second boat I bought there in the last 4yrs but I never had the last one back there once it had no issues.

funny you should mention those things. Both of those have happened to our brand new 180. We haven't had the screw fixed, but the captain's chair has already been in once. Did you notice anything weak about the bow holds? Ours have come loose already.

My bow handles are molded in the fiberglass.

CHECK THE HINGES ON YOUR SUNDECK!!! One of mine broke yesterday, landing on my girlfriend. Pinning her in the engine compartment. She ok but Four Winns is getting a phone call this morning.

My best friend has a 2006 220 Horizon and he has the same problem with the depth gage/sounder. i tried to program it, but if I put anything on there, it starts beeping all the time. I have to read the owners manual on it and figure it out. Other than that it's a great boat!!!!
