Why doesn't the FAQ section contain any frequently asked questions?

Wouldn't it be something if the Engine Frequently Asked Questions section actually had some of the answers to the questions people frequently ask?! Maybe this thread coud be about things we'd like to see added and maybe someone would then add them for us. I'd like to see a lot of Don S's diagnostic posts added because I can never find them and people on this forum need and ask for them often. If you have links to any of them or others, post them to this thread and maybe we can get them on the Engine FAQ's!

Eg.: Water Intrusion? Won't Start, Now What? Cooling System Testing, Fuel System Testing...etc...

New software, still being tweaked, not available at the moment. And when its back om line, we are going to start charging $5 a minute for access. No more freebie.

Ya well tell me this, why in hell do I have to start a new thread everytime I want to log on and why in hell can't I log on with my original name, I ask these queastions and never get a response from anywhere no matter where I post. Frustrated:'(

My guess is that you're logging in on the "Instant Thread" section instead of in the general login (top right corner of your screen) . No idea on the original name problem...

Penny, I think what you need to do is stop making test posts and asking your questions while tacked on to other posts that are totally unrelated. All that happens is your question gets lost and the proper people never read it. TEST posts also don't help since all it says is test and never mentions a login problem till days later.
Go over to the Website/Forum issues section and POST a question about login, or at least read the other posts where Delray Ryan (The forum software tech) has asked a million times for people to email him at forums@iboats.com

Don, please understand I have done that and get no results, the only way thaty I can log on is doing the test. I see no other way to logon, other than replying to a thread. I have asked for verification of my password for my original name 8x56mn, they send it, I try to logon and get refused. I then ask for verification of my name and password and they say it doesn't exist, how can this be. What the hell happened to this forum, why are some having no problems and others are. Realy frustrated
