This is something I started a couple years ago and I always loved the diverse answers y'all gave. I will be gone next week so I think what I'll do is ask a member to ask next week's questions and do that every week so everyone gets a turn. Let's keep it to 5 questions for now and no politcal questions.

This weeks Q&A

1. Out of all the vehicles you own or owned which was/is your favorite?

2. How many children did you want before you had them, and how many do you have now?

3. What (music) concert would you DEFINITELY not allow your children to go to (and if your children are grown, answer as if they were still young)?

4. What would be your definition of the "worst" vacation you could possibly go on?

5. What food that your mother/grandmother made when you were growing up do you crave the most?

1. 85 Jeep Cherokee. First vehicle bought brand new, and it has always been my favorite.

2. 2. And 2 is what I have.

3. Heavy metal? Not sure, I never excercised veto power, as I always trusted my kids judgement on this stuff, and they never disappointed me.

4. Hawaii, or gambling in Vegas

5. Wild blackberry strudle

1. Out of all the vehicles you own or owned which was/is your favorite?

I have to say my Toyota Avalon because of its speed and gas mileage. I also liked our TR6 convertible, it was a lot of fun to drive.

2. How many children did you want before you had them, and how many do you have now?

I wanted 4, I have one daughter.

3. What (music) concert would you DEFINITELY not allow your children to go to (and if your children are grown, answer as if they were still young)?

Actually, we never kept her from going to any concerts. I will say that the ones that scared us a little we went along with her on. Bon Jovi was the last one we took her to.

4. What would be your definition of the "worst" vacation you could possibly go on?

I hate to say this, but going back home. Mr. LF;s family lives about 10 miles from mine and everytime we go there its a fight about where we stay and for how long. Sometimes, I'd just like to go home and visit old friends and places we used to go. It seem like every night is planned out for us.

5. What food that your mother/grandmother made when you were growing up do you crave the most?

My mother's glumpkies (stuffed cabbage rolls).

1. Out of all the vehicles you own or owned which was/is your favorite?

I really liked my '68 Acura Integra and my '73 Mercedes 450SL, but I think the '99 ML430 I have now is my all-time favorite vehicle.

2. How many children did you want before you had them, and how many do you have now?

I don't remember wanting a perticular number, but I wouldn't trade any of the 4 I have for anything I can imagine.

3. What (music) concert would you DEFINITELY not allow your children to go to (and if your children are grown, answer as if they were still young)?

Fortunately, I guess, the question never came up. Their stereo was about as horrible as I could tolerate.

4. What would be your definition of the "worst" vacation you could possibly go on?

With a guided tour to a very crowded place.

5. What food that your mother/grandmother made when you were growing up do you crave the most?

My grandmother made Neimann Marcus Chocolate Chip (she called them "Alice's Toll House") cookies before NM did. Chopped pecans and big chunks of black walnut with extra dark Belgian chocolate chunks. Ex-wife and daughter use the same recipe. To kill for.

My mom was not a great cook, but she made kidney stew that I just loved. English "steak and kidney pie" recipe with the steak (who could get steak during the war?) left out. I can't get any of the cooks in my life to even think about it.

1. Out of all the vehicles you own or owned which was/is your favorite?

I still miss my '69 VW Squareback. First car that I really count as mine and it was my baby. Dual Weber carb kit, lowered a little, cool wheels and great at the drive-in (humina, humina sp.?)

2. How many children did you want before you had them, and how many do you have now?

Wanted 2, got 3. We were at one point done at one. Mrs. QC blames me 100% for # 3 and he is paying me back for her. He makes it very clear that I have to go through him to get to his mommy

3. What (music) concert would you DEFINITELY not allow your children to go to (and if your children are grown, answer as if they were still young)?

Any Gangsta Rap. You know me and evil, which is what those guys are IMHO

4. What would be your definition of the "worst" vacation you could possibly go on?

Anywhere in the middle of the desert in summer without a lake or a river, I just don't get the place without a boat

5. What food that your mother/grandmother made when you were growing up do you crave the most?

For some reason oatmeal comes to mind . . .

Thanks for all the replys guys.

Since I will be in Cozumel all of next week and a portion of the following, I am appointing Dunaruna to come up with next weeks Q&A and he will in turn pass it on to someone else. This will keep the ball rollin.

Besides I thought it might be fun to get everyone involved.8)
