Well,i got fed up where i was working and told them to shove it monday.I was sick of their poor management and rude attitude.
I never quit a job before without having one to go to.
I made 2 phone calls tuesday, went for an interview yesterday.
I got a call this morning that i'm being offered a position with the people i interviewed with yesterday.
5k more a year to start, much better benefits, profit sharing, bonuses, cell phone, they pay for all clothing we will have to wear, even buy our shoes..pay for our dry cleaning ect..
I still have that starting a new job jitters....and hope i made the right move..:%:%

Good for you Gary! Everything changes but you seem to have the stones (and may be in the position) to do what many of us only dream of doing.

All the best on your new career. Keep us posted as it unfolds.

Great.
Life on the road can be great, or torture, it all depends on how you are treated. Most will see you as "just a driver".
Others will see you as their representative to the public, and treat you as such.

Sounds like the new boss wants you lookin "spiffy" all the time. :)

Is the new job the same type of work?

Let us know what color transport to be looking for.

Good Luck.

Re: Starting a new job

Thanks Guys!
Yep,they want you looking good at all times for the corporate sponsors.I will be working at the race tracks sometimes for the driving experience program and will be hauling the #9 nextel car around to Dodge dealerships. Not a bad deal,I get a new Viper red Dodge dually truck and a new Featherlite trailer..and one bad a** racecar...
It will be tempting to light up the tires from time to time...lol8)

The new boat will have to wait awhile...still have to get a house built on my lake property..
